1. Responsible for overall planning of a merchandise category and developing business strategy.
2. Responsible for developing an annual operating plan and driving other KPIs, including GMV, profit margin, other income and inventory turn-over.
3. Build and sustain relationships with suppliers according to business needs; drive collaboration to achieve business growth
4. Provide detailed analysis and insights for category opportunities.
5. Use insights to influence category plans and conduct quarterly category reviews.
6. Manage inventory levels within target and ensure exit plan is optimised between product availability, cash flows and maximize profits.
7. Lead and develop a category team to achieve KPIs; guide and mentor team and quickly equip them with the professional and leadership skills to succeed in managing each of their respective product lines.
8. Drive continuous improvement in business processes and increase team’s overall efficiency.
9. Work closely internally with other departments and coordinate both internal and external resources to achieve business goals on behalf of a category and the company
Requirement :
- Bachelor’s degree or above in related category field, MBA is preferable.
- 7+ years of experience in Category/ Merchandise management of a modern Retails or e-commerce; 4+Ys in management position. Preferred experience in managing an office appliance or corporate & business service category.
- Strategic mindset and a strong sense of the market; have a point of view and direction on where to take the business and ability to drive and execute a long-term business plan.
- Excellent skills in communication, cross-functional collaboration, negotiation, analytical and business development.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, SAP
- Strong proficiency in Vietnamese and Business English language
