The position of Senior Firmware Engineer reports directly to the R&D Manager and is responsible for:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy embedded firmware for electronic test and measurement applications.
• Collaborate across technical domains to architect and plan product development.
• Identify and champion for continuous improvements to firmware development processes.
• Demonstrate passion for learning and seek development opportunities for self and team.

Requirements
Job Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience with C, C++, OOP, and design patterns.
• Experience with embedded operating systems.
• Experience with Integrated Development Environments (Eclipse, Visual Studio, WinCE) and open source compilers/debuggers (GCC, GDB).
• Desire to work closely with hardware, ability to understand schematics and circuit diagrams.
• Ability to work well independently and in close collaboration with a remote team
• Preferred:
• Experience with RTOS and Linux on embedded platforms
• Knowledge of low-powered systems
• Familiarity with low-level debug tools (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters)
