Execution of strategic directions and developments for efficient operation of Logistic Department - governed by SC strategies and Market priorities: - Sets, implements and monitors performance measures to ensure customer service levels, sustainability in distribution, transportation and warehousing, safety and cost targets are met. - Uses knowledge of distribution network, route-to-market, Operations and Business strategies to plan short-term and mid-term activities and resources, as well as long term capacity needs.
Warehouse management: Warehousing principles, productivity measurement, cost drivers, continuous improvement.
Transportation management: Strategic and operational planning, 3PL Fleet management; transport related regulations, Legal & Compliance. Understands the impact of high-level Supply Chain plans on transportation and translates those into operational resources and capacity plans required for execution
Distribution Management: manage Depots, 3PL to perform customer service level, On time delivery with cost optimization as per targets set, effective custody management
Quality and SHE - SC operation to be compliant with local regulations and Nestle guidelines. - Ability to drive Safety, Environment, Quality compliance, QA , Pest Control, SHE, Audit – internal & external, legislative compliance (e.g. export licenses) and to ensure business continuity. - Ensure to be compliant with Quality Management System and registered quality standards - Promote NGMP,5S, BB SHE, NCE in department

Leadership skills: reference to Nestle leadership framework
Negotiation: ability to negotiate effectively in the context of Contract Management
Technology continuous improvement mindset and experience: system, MS office, ERP, SA
