Its original name was Bien Hoa Technical Intermediate School, this period mainly trained technical workers and intermediate technical staff.
After 5 times, Dong Nai People's Committee adjusted the task to suit the socio-economic situation of the province. In October 2017, the school was renamed to Dong Nai Technical College.
