Introduction:

Thomas G. Giglione is a highly experienced commercial real estate consultant and startup mentor from Toronto, Canada with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He has worked for some of the largest real estate companies in Canada, including Sutton Group and Re/Max, and holds a Canadian Quality Assurance certificate. In addition to his real estate background, Mr. Giglione is also the founder and Managing Director of Carbon Credits Group, a company based in Hanoi, Vietnam that helps farmers become greener and create certified high-quality carbon credits.

As a startup mentor, Mr. Giglione is also involved in the Canadian Startup Visa Program, which offers Canadian permanent residence to qualified Vietnamese immigrant entrepreneurs. He has experience working with venture capital firms, angel investors, and other funding sources and a thorough understanding of the fundraising process, including creating and presenting pitch decks, financial modeling, etc. He helps innovative entrepreneurs from Vietnam to link them with private sector investors in Canada who will help establish their start-up business in Canada. Mr. Giglione's expertise lies in identifying opportunities for foreign direct investments in Vietnam, and finding international investors for these opportunities and helping them navigate the fundraising process.

  • Over 15 years of experience working as a licensed commercial real estate broker in Canada for RE/MAX, short for Real Estate Maximums, is an American international real estate company with more than 100,000 agents in 6,800 offices and operates in about 100 countries.

  • Vice Director of VEMC Mediation - providing consultation for cross international border trade disputes.

  • Active member of The Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association (ALITA) which is based in SingaporeALITA is the premier organization consolidating legal innovation and technology initiatives in the region. Members interact, innovate, develop, and coordinate, to establish Asia-Pacific as the go-to hub for the startup industry that includes legal innovation.

  • Keynote speaker for various investment promotion conferences sponsored by EUROCHAM, the European Chamber of Commerce, and also holds accreditation with the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam as an ad commercial mediator and arbitrator.

  • Collaborates with and has worked as a consultant for the Green Industry working closely with Vietnam Climate Innovation Center  (VCIC) by providing training courses on branding, raising capital, and pitching for green innovative startups.
