BAC NINH INDUSTRIAL FORUM 2026 TO FOSTER INVESTMENT LINKS AND HIGH-TECH SUPPLY CHAINS ON NOVEMBER

The Bac Ninh Industrial Forum 2026 is scheduled to take place on November 4 at the Kinh Bac Cultural Center in Bac Ninh Province, as part of the VIMF Bac Ninh 2026 exhibition.

The forum will bring together policymakers, technology corporations, investors and the business community to explore new drivers of growth, strengthen investment partnerships and enhance Vietnam’s position in global value chains.

Geopolitical shifts, changes in trade policies and intensifying technological competition are reshaping key links in global supply chains. Multinational corporations are no longer looking solely for locations with competitive production costs. Increasingly, they are prioritizing industrial ecosystems with integrated infrastructure, highly skilled workers, networks of qualified suppliers and the capacity to meet sustainable development standards.

In this restructuring, opportunities will not only go to localities that attract the most new factories but also to those capable of connecting investment, technology, manufacturing and support services into an integrated value-chain ecosystem. For Vietnam, this creates favourable conditions to attract high-quality investment while also underscoring the urgent need to strengthen domestic industrial capabilities, increase domestic value added and move progressively into more technology-intensive stages of production.

Against this backdrop, Bac Ninh is well positioned to benefit from shifts in international manufacturing.

With more room for development, strong regional connectivity and the presence of major technology corporations, Bac Ninh is steadily strengthening its position in Northern Vietnam’s industrial landscape. Building on its strengths in electronics and component manufacturing, the province aims to develop higher-value-added industries, including semiconductors, precision engineering, automation, robotics, smart manufacturing and industrial logistics.

However, to evolve from a major manufacturing centre into a global high-tech supply chain hub, Bac Ninh will need to build on more than its traditional investment-attraction advantages. It must foster closer links among foreign-invested enterprises, domestic companies, research institutions and infrastructure developers.

To help advance this vision, under the direction of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Business Forum Magazine is organizing the Bac Ninh Industrial Forum 2026 in coordination with the organizing committee of the Vietnam Industrial and Manufacturing Fair (VIMF Bac Ninh 2026). The forum’s theme is “Building a Global High-Tech Supply Chain Hub.”

The event is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on November 4, 2026, at the Kinh Bac Cultural Center in Bac Ninh Province, as part of VIMF Bac Ninh 2026.

The forum aims to provide a platform for strategic dialogue among government agencies, international organizations, industrial park infrastructure developers, technology corporations and Vietnam’s business community.

According to the organizers’ plans, invitations will be extended to representatives of central ministries and agencies, leaders of Bac Ninh Province, international trade and investment promotion organizations such as JETRO, KOTRA, AmCham, EuroCham and KoCham, as well as development organizations, international financial institutions and leading technology companies.

The organizers also plan to invite representatives of major companies in electronics, semiconductors and high-tech manufacturing sectors, including Samsung Electronics, Amkor Technology, Foxconn, Luxshare ICT and Qualcomm, alongside industrial park infrastructure developers and companies in supporting industries.

With the message “From a Manufacturing Hub to a Global Value Chain Ecosystem,” the Bac Ninh Industrial Forum 2026 is expected to help connect strategic resources, expand investment cooperation opportunities and propose potential solutions to bring Bac Ninh closer to its goal of becoming a high-tech supply chain hub with a strong regional and international standing.
