From March 5-9th, 2023, IPAVIETNAM led a Vietnam business delegation to Taipei, Taiwan, to attend the The Taipei International Machine Tool Show, also known as TIMTOS 2023. With 1,000+ exhibitors, this is the largest trade show ever recorded after Taiwan has recently lifted all its border controls since the COVID-19 outbreak.

IPAVIETNAM’s business delegation includes companies in the FDI industrial ecosystem, such as industrial parks/clusters management boards, construction companies, manufacturing and machining services, law firms, investment consulting agencies… We met new partners in Taipei, took a site visit at Taiwan semiconductor factory in Guanyin Industrial Park, Taoyuan City, and met Taiwanese partners to discuss further collaboration.

On March 8th, 2023, IPAVIETNAM successfully organized the “Invest in Vietnam” Seminar in Taipei City, Taiwan on March 8, 2023, with the presence of Mr. Hsu Chih-Jen, former Taiwan Economic Counsellor in Italy & Vietnam, Former President of Taiwan External Trade Development Council. Thanks to the introduction of TAITRA Asia-Pacific, the seminar received registrations from 20 Taiwanese enterprises interested in investment and commercial business in Vietnam.

At the seminar, Lawyer Bui Van Thanh (Head of New Sun Law office) and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Nam (Chairman & IPAVIETNAM) introduced investment opportunities and environment in Vietnam, as well as introduced Vietnamese companies in the FDI ecosystem coming to Taiwan this time. Taiwanese businesses also expressed their interests in investment laws, legal procedures, regulations on environmental protection, import and export... when doing business in Vietnam.
