As you may be aware, Hong Kong (China) currently ranks fifth among 154 countries and territories investing in Vietnam, with 3,331 projects and total registered investment capital exceeding USD 40.7 billion. In recent years, numerous leading corporations and business delegations, particularly in high-tech industries, electronics, electric vehicles, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, energy, and related sectors, have visited Vietnam to explore investment policies and assess potential project locations.

Recognizing the continued growth of investment from Hong Kong into Vietnam, IPAVIETNAM, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), is organizing an Investment Promotion Program in Hong Kong, featuring participation in and investment networking activities within the framework of the Belt and Road Summit 2026. The Belt and Road Summit is a premier annual international event jointly organized by China's Ministry of Commerce and the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region since 2015. The Summit attracts more than 6,000 international delegates, multinational corporations, investors, and business leaders from around the world to explore cooperation, investment, and business opportunities.

Program Details

Tentative Program Highlights

  • Participation in the Belt and Road Summit, attended by over 6,000 delegates representing multinational corporations and investors from major economic regions worldwide, particularly from Mainland China.
  • Investment promotion and business networking activities through exhibition booths within the Belt and Road Summit venue.
  • Direct meetings and networking sessions with investors, manufacturing business associations, and investment and trade promotion organizations in Hong Kong.

Target Vietnamese Participants

  • Industrial real estate developers and operators;
  • Supporting industry manufacturers;
  • Service providers serving FDI enterprises, including legal, investment consulting, construction, taxation, banking, human resources, logistics, and related sectors;

Participation Costs

Participants are responsible for covering all expenses related to visas, international travel, accommodation, exhibition booths (if applicable), and any other costs incurred during the program.

  • Exhibition Booth Registration at the Belt and Road Summit: before June 26, 2026
