Vietnam posted agro-forestry-fishery export turnover of over $49 billion in the first eleven months of 2022, higher than last year’s record of $48.6 billion, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) figures show.

The annual total is expected to exceed $53 billion.

Eleven-month exports rose 11.8 per cent compared with the same period last year.

Eight products and product groups posted export value of over $2 billion each, including coffee, rubber, rice, fruit and vegetables, cashew nuts, shrimp, tra fish, and wooden products.

The US remains the largest importer of Vietnamese products, with over $12 billion in revenue, accounting for 25 per cent of total shipments. China and Japan followed.
