Located in North-Central Viet Nam, Quang Binh Province is surrounded by Ha Tinh Province on the north, East Sea on the east, Laos on the west and Quang Tri Province on the south.

The Highway 1A and Ho Chi Minh Highway pass through most of the province’s area. On the East-West Transport Corridor, the National Road 12A connects Quang Binh with Laos, Northeast Thailand and Myanmar through Cha Lo international border gate. Dong Hoi station is the main railway station on the North - South railway at Km 522. Dong Hoi airport is located in Loc Ninh commune, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province.

GDP growth rate 2021: 4.83%

Up to now, Quang Binh has 24 FDI projects with the total investment capital is nearly 1.11 billion US dollars.
