Job description

Storytelling:

  • Own Corporate Message House
  • Build narratives and develop messaging for HEINEKEN Vietnam – with a focus on Corporate and Employer Branding, and Sustainability.
  • Develop story formats for different platforms and channels managed by Integrated Comms team. Build corporate narratives that can be translated on other channels/ engagement opportunities managed by Media Relations & Reputation Management.
  • Tell compelling stories to a range of stakeholders – externally (prospective employees and the wider public) and internally (our own employees) in collaboration with Employee Comms
  • Manage storytelling across these platforms and channels, ensure engaging, seamless and well-orchestrated communication to all groups of audience – internally and externally
  • Work as Comms business partners to Sustainability (for Sustainability Comms) and HR (for Employer Value Proposition EVP & Employee Engagement). Manage storytelling and work cross-functionally to bring ideas and plans to life - in line with Comms’ strategic storytelling and toward the committed KPIs with these stakeholders.
  • Challenge the current boundaries for storytelling – with innovations in content, formats, platforms, forums and channels

Data & Analytics:

  • Have a good understanding of data and analytics to:
  • Tell even more compelling stories with data
  • Understand Comms effectiveness with the measurement, tracking and evaluation of Comms effort, all with data.

Agency and Budget Management:

  • Under the supervision of the Integrated Comms Manager – manage external agencies and assigned budget for Employee Comms plans, with Cost and Value mindset, while ensuring excellent execution, and committed KPIs and ROI with all campaigns.

People Development:

  • Under the leadership of the Integrated Comms Manager – grow a Comms Officer who manages channels.
  • Work seamlessly with this officer on the mix of content, format, audience, platform and channels
  • Coach this officer on content and storytelling

Requirements: 

  • 3-5 years in communications, in house in a fast-paced business environment or with an agency
  • Experience developing content in various formats, platforms and channels, for both traditional and new media
  • Experience leveraging storytelling for strategic business purposes
  • Strong communicator with excellent communication skills
  • Storyteller and Fire fighter/ Problem solver
  • Strong understanding of the business and how storytelling can add value
  • Strong stakeholder engagement ability
  • Strong ability to analyse, interpret and simplify complex information, able to bring clarity to a complex idea through communication
  • Strong understanding of new trends in Comms (digital, data and analytics...)
  • University Degree, or higher educations in Communications, Business Management, Marketing, Journalism or Languages/ Liberal Arts
