Summary
As an IT System & Network Specialist, you will be responsible for providing IT system administration services for hardware, network, operating system, cloud services and related software across the Pharmacis business. You will work closely with members of our IT Operations and CyberSec team to ensure the secure and efficient delivery of services. This is a generalist support role with an opportunity to work with a large variety of solutions in both datacenter and Cloud.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide support services for elements of the associated technology stack across all development, testing and business critical production environments.
- Pro-actively manage, maintain, and develop IT capacity and performance across the associated technology stack.
- Administration and support of IT systems, virtual, physical and cloud including associated systems management software to agreed standards.
- Maintenance and configuration of core hardware infrastructure including servers, storage, SAN switches and all the management tools required to support them.
- Maintain system availability, security, and continued vendor support through the delivery of appropriate systems and applications patching
- Provide effective incident and problem diagnosis and resolution utilizing other internal and external support teams when required, taking ownership where appropriate.
Requirements :
- At least 2-3 years of experience in IT system, System Admin, Network Engineer positions.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms ie. Microsoft Azure/Amazon AWS.
- Hands-on experience with ITIL Processes (Incident/Problem/Configuration/Release/ Change/Service Level/Capacity Management) & ITIL System (Jira/ServiceDesk)
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Social & Collaboration systems.
- Proven working experience as System Manager or relevant experience (a previous experience in IT Retails/Banking is a plus).
- Proven experience of successful delivery without the need for regular direction or supervision
- Able to handle multiple tasks, delegate to the team, and make sure deadlines are met.
- Certificates: MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or relevant is preferred, Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure is preferred, Cisco CCNA or Juniper JCA or HPE ASE.
