Producing electricity from liquefied natural gas (LNG); Transmission transports electricity from the place of production to the distribution system. Hai Lang LNG Terminal Warehouse Center - Phase 1: The LNG terminal will receive 170,000 ÷ 226,000 m3 LNG carriers, with a capacity of 1.5 million tons of LNG/year. Hai Lang Power Center - Phase 1: generating capacity of 1,500 MW. The progress of the project implementation is as follows:
Quarter IV of 2022 to Quarter I of 2024: Compensation, site clearance, site handover, commencement of construction works.
The second quarter of 2024 to the fourth quarter of 2027: Design, procurement, construction of work items and installation of machinery and equipment, commissioning and acceptance.
Second quarter of 2027: Completing the project to put into commercial operation Unit 1 of Hai Lang Power Center - Phase1.
Fourth quarter of 2027: Completing the project to put into commercial operation Unit 2 of Hai Lang Power Center - Phase1.
